The best bit about starting out on a new project is the new pile of books that are fresh from the library. I really enjoy having the opportunity at the beginning of new projects to research into unknown territory that is hidden in the library isles.

This time the research is for my extended major project, which marks the end of my degree. I am looking into fabric manipulation and textile techniques such as knitting and dyeing. This is all In aid of the Olympic chalk legends project which I will be supervising and creating the principal male costume for.
