Today a few of us opted to fill the day with activities surrounding the river (it’s sunny and after all the traveling I’ve been craving a day outside!) After a short journey in a tuk tuk we walked through farmland and a little rural village where the elephant cave can be found (just a cave with a rock shaped like an elephant) we arrived at our first destination. We all grabbed a tube (an old inflated tyre) and hopped into the icy cold water, where we pulled ourselves through a cave for about 45 minutes then had lunch.
The next stop was kayaking. I love kayaking! We paddled for about an hour until be reached a river bar called River Bar, where we stopped for a drink and met the rest of the group after relaxing here for a bit in the sun we kayaked for about another hour down river to reach the hotel. After getting back into the tuk tuk we all headed over to the blue lagoon it was such a great day and really fun to have some fun, this trip had been turning into just a lot of traveling so it was fab to actually have a laugh and be outside!!
